No one can prevent the advent of the TON Blockchain

The developers of TON Blockchain are still considering implementing the project, regardless of what the US Court ruling is.

Fedor Skuratov, spokesman for TCF – the organization behind TON Blockchain, said the recent adverse court decisions did not surprise them at all:

No one can prevent the advent of the TON Blockchain

Our TON community is inherently prepared for one situation, even another. We have a few options, including a TON launch by TCF. No one can stop this project no matter which agency, individual or organization, because TON is a decentralized open source. We already have two different test networks in place, and at least one team is planning to do it within the organization.

The primexbt blog believes they can bypass the SEC (Securities Exchange Commission) and the US Court by branching the main network of TON. As such, the crypto platform will be legally decoupled from the original project. When that happens, the early investors will likely have to settle the assets issued on this branch network instead of the main network line:

The point is, the main net line will be recognized exclusively. We are weighing among many options on which to negotiate with TON investors to convert ownership of GRAM issued by Telegram on the TON platform to other GRAMs.

At this point, it’s still unclear whether this proposal will be approved by Telegram founder Pavel Durov. However, considering the TON Blockchain as an open source project, Pavel Durov’s opinion does not have much influence on the project’s implementation.
